Where did we stay?

In 1998, following our first trip to Walt Disney World, Wendy and I bought a timeshare at the Boardwalk Villas.  We have never been sorry.  We stayed at the Boardwalk Villas last May but this was the first time we had ever stayed in a 2 bedroom Villa.  The Boardwalk Villas are part of the Epcot resort area.  They are a 5 minute walk from Epcot or a 20 minute walk from the Disney MGM Studios.  You can also take a boat to those areas.  The Boardwalk area is also becoming a destination in it's own right much like Downtown Disney.  Many people after spending a day in the Disney parks go to the Boardwalk to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.  That is one of the huge reasons we bought a timeshare interest there in the first place.

Here is the lobby.  Isn't it festive?
Here is a picture of the inside of the living area of our Timeshare.

Here is the view across Crescent Lake.  This was taken from our balcony.  In the distance you can see Spaceship Earth from Epcot Center.  To the right of the ball, you can see the pyramids from the Imagination Pavillion.

On the water you can see the Friendship boats which take people to Epcot Center, MGM and the resorts around the lake.

Again from the balcony you can see the Yacht Club Hotel.
This is the Beach Club across Crescent lake from our resort.
Just below and to the right of our balcony you can see the Boardwalk itself.  This was taken in the morning so the Carnival games are closed, but the Big River Brewery can be seen with the outdoor tables.
A longer view to the right, you can see the boardwalk Inn, the hotel part of the Boardwalk complex.
